Wow. It's getting *even darker*. That whole sequence where the guy is following Joe Tobin down the sidewalk while Martin Short's character appears on all the big-screen TVs and Louis Tobin is sitting in semi-darkness on the couch...SERIOUSLY CREEPY. *Shudder* Frobisher is suddenly looking sweet and cuddly compared to these people - I wouldn't necessarily be afraid to be in the same room with him, which is more than I can say for *anyone* in the Tobin family.
Also. If anyone had trouble picking up on Ellen/Patty subtext before this episode, well...I think it just came up and smacked us right in the face!
And...Patty freaking out at the end? Oh, man. Have you seen that,madamedarque? I would think a Patty/Tom person would both love and be heartbroken by that scene (not to mention wonder who the hell she was talking to).
