There's quite a nice community of Madeline/Operations vidders over on Youtube - I've been enjoying their work for a while now. But I just came across one vid by Maria Purt that she says was inspired by one of my fics, Return From the Land of Shadows. The vid is great, and I am thrilled that one of my ideas helped inspire her to create something else!

I'm embedding the vid here, and I hope any TR fen who see this will go and leave Maria a nice comment!

To everyone on my flist who enjoys TR fic, there's a new story that you should go take a look at!

It's called Stalemate by [livejournal.com profile] clueless_02. It's short but lovely, and it really captures the essence of the characters!

I haven't had lots of internet time this week, but I did manage to sneak on to check out Yuletide. So many wonderful stories to read, as usual! I'll need more time to catch up with them all.

For now, three recs:

First and foremost, my gift this year. It's called I Might Be Wrong, and it's Damages fic!! *Dances in glee* It's long; it's plotty; it's all about the warped Patty&Ellen relationship; and it's fabulous! I could not be happier -- it's like my author read my mind.

Second, La Femme Nikita fic! It's called To Everything There Is A Season, and it's Madeline-centric, both pre- and post-series, with plot and twists and insights into the characters...just excellent!

Finally, Spooks fic! This one is called By That Sin Fell The Angels. It's got both old characters and new (including Ruth, Ros, Juliet and even Tessa!), a clever plot with twists, and even pretty steamy Harry/Juliet backstory references. Just awesome.

Word Count: Approx. 1340
Rating: PG-13 (for references to violence)

Title: Succession
Fandom: La Femme Nikita
Rating: Probably a hard R, for sexual situations and violence.
Pairings: Contains Madeline/Paul (Operations) and Charles Sand/Madeline as well as references to Adrian/George, but this doesn't fit comfortably into "shippy" categories.
Length: The whole thing is 120k-plus words. There are 31 chapters, which are distributed among four "Parts."
Warning: Michael and Nikita do not appear in this story, except as minor references at the very end.
Summary: Set during the 1980's, this story traces the events that ultimately led to the overthrow of Adrian as leader of Section One and to her replacement by Paul Wolfe (Operations).

Because this is a lengthy, multi-chapter story, I have backdated the individual chapters (by a couple of years) so that they don't push down and hide other entries. This post contains a index linking to each chapter (and I have placed navigation links within the chapter posts as well). The story is complete and not a WIP.

Title: Zero Point
Fandom: La Femme Nikita
Rating: R, probably
Pairing: Madeline/Nikita
Warnings: Somewhat dark, f/f slash, spoilers for the entire series
Synopsis: Something hung between the two of them, like a scent that lingers for years in the air of a closed room. Most of the time, Nikita ignored it; sometimes, she was able to forget it. But then there would be a look, or a certain tone of voice, and she would wonder all over again.
